With expertise in genome editing, protein engineering, gene therapy, and experimental hematology, my lab focuses on creating novel genome editing tools and enhancing the precision and safety of existing ones for treating genetic diseases.
My research focuses on developing new directed evolution methods in eukaryotic cells to enhance existing genome editing tools, with a particular emphasis on improving their efficiency and safety profiles for the treatment of genetic diseases.
